Tierra Rapaz Trip!!! :)

Today we have had lots of fun in our trip to Tierra Rapaz!! We have learnt a lot about this magnificent birds and we now that it is in our hands to take care of this beautiful animals.

Jimena's parents origins

Now that in Science we are talking about travelling and about different cities and countries, Jimena's mum, Eloisa came to class to talk about 2 different towns, Sevilla, where she is from and Villalba de los Barros, where Manolo (Jimena's daddy) is from. We learnt a little bit about Adalucía and Extremadura.

World Environment Day!!

Last Tuesday 5th of June, we celebrated at school the World Environment day. That day we got a wonderful cactus that the Aztecas brought to us called: Aporocactus or cola de ratón. We also played some games and we realised how important is to take care of the environment.

The dentist comes to school! :)

Last Wednesday we had a special visit to school. A dentist from the "Colegio de dentistas de navarra" explained us how important is to take care of our teeth. It was really interesting!!!

Sports and health day!!!

Last Friday we celebrated the Sports and Healthy day at school.
During the week we were collecting food for the Paris 365 Organization.

On Friday we enjoyed a great exhibition of Judo thanks to Eduardo Marco and Marcilla's teacher Pedro Lezano. And to finish the day we were dancing Zumba with Teacher Elena.We had a wonderful Time!

Storytelling at the library

Last week we were lucky enough to go to Marcilla's library and could do a fantastic activity with a brilliant writer! Freya de Garayeta Losada told us the story of her book: En busca del Arcoiris.

But not only we listened and saw her great story, we also did an art class related to the book!!! Have a look!!

Planting peas!

Now that we are learning about plants in our Science Project, we have planted some peas seeds! But that is the easy part, we have to observe and learn how do the grow and we will need to take care of them.

Spring Mosaic!!

During these last days we have been coloring these beautiful flowers.It's Spring... but let's see if it finally arrives!!! Meanwhile we have already decorated our corridor. And this is the result!Do you like it?

Workshop day!

Last Thursday, years 1 and 2 were doing 2 different workshops related with responsible consumption. 

On the first one we recicled some materials like newspapers and plastic bottles and we made a bowling game. 

On the second one Mr. Fresa taught us about some of the food that we eat.

 We realised that we eat a lot of sugar, and we should eat more fruit instead!!!!
